Job Description
Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness is looking for someone to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide. We have a very dynamic and cohesive staff, we are looking for a good fit that would blend well with our team, and contribute to the fun and positive culture we provide to our patients. Under the close supervision of physical therapists, a physical therapy aide performs delegated and selected tasks including but not limited to: Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and getting warm-up treatment started Prepares treatment area for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Aides in treating patients by applying heat, ice, TENS, anodyne therapy, ultrasound; helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; measuring mobility; performing properly prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques. Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines. Assisting physical therapists with chart maintenance and timely patient flow. Communicates with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with COVID procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintaining any necessary supplies for back office area i.e. linens, cleaning supplies, procedure and modality supplies Administrative duties as needed At all times maintains patient privacy and protects operations by keeping information confidential (HIPAA compliance).
