Job Description
About Us Florida Movement Therapy Center is a patient-centered outpatient physical, occupational & speech therapy practice specializing in neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, and movement disorder rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide exceptional one-on-one care while creating a welcoming environment for both our patients and team members. We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and motivated Rehab Aide / Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in physical therapy, occupational therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, sports medicine, nursing, or other healthcare professions. Pay
- $18.00 per hour Benefits

- Assist therapists with patient flow throughout the clinic
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas when appropriate
- Assist patients on and off exercise equipment safely (NuStep, GIGER MD, and other equipment as directed)
- Prepare treatment areas before patient appointments
- Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and treatment areas between patients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment
- Complete laundry and organize linens throughout the day
- Assist with clinic opening and daily operational tasks
- Restock treatment supplies, lotion, paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other clinic essentials
- Refill patient water stations as needed
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Gather patient education materials and brochures
- Retrieve and organize printed documents for clinical staff
- Help maintain efficient patient flow by preparing rooms and assisting therapists within the aide scope of practice
- Supervise patients briefly while a therapist steps away, ensuring the patient is not actively performing exercises or treatment
- Assist with non-clinical therapeutic activities as directed (such as tossing a ball during exercises) while remaining within the approved scope of practice
- Support front desk and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and assist with clinic operations throughout the day
- Previous experience as a Rehab Aide, Physical Therapy Technician, Medical Assistant, Athletic Trainer, or Healthcare Assistant is preferred but not required
