Physical Therapy Aide (Part-Time) Center for Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy (COSPT), Town Center Fitness Location | Tallahassee, FL | Part-Time, 20 hours/week About COSPT The Center for Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, a division of Integrated Musculoskeletal Care (IMC), delivers musculoskeletal care and provides innovative musculoskeletal healthcare solutions for employers, health plans, and patients through telehealth, health coaching, digital health tools, and in-person clinical care. About the Role Are you an experienced personal trainer or physical therapy student looking for a flexible part-time role with meaningful patient impact? COSPT is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support our therapists by preparing treatment areas and equipment, managing clinic cleanliness, and providing patient support in our patient care programs. What You'll Do Handle REPEX-only patients Assist therapists with any of their requests, including: o Supervising patients o Instructing and monitoring patients in functional exercise o Setting up/supervising a patient on REPEX o Instructing patients in repetitive movements o Setting up any other equipment (ice packs, anodyne, etc.) Prepare patient charts Coordinate with volunteers, including: o Scheduling o Pairing volunteers with a clinician to shadow o Delegating responsibilities o Familiarizing volunteers with the clinic and our duties o Correspondence via e-mail or phone Assist administrative staff as needed Wash/fold laundry Maintain cleanliness and all supplies for gym, breakroom(s), and clinical treatment areas Tie resistance bands and ensure sufficient stock of PT equipment Take inventory of all necessary supplies and coordinate with Office Manager for supply needs Prepare office for opening or closing at the start and end of the day Observe clinical care and assist providers as needed Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Medical or fitness facility experience EMR/EHR experience NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, NCSF or Pre-PT preferred Key Skills Understand and maintain HIPAA compliance Share and articulate Company values, vision, and mission Understand and articulate Company objectives, strategies, policies, structures, systems, processes, and standards Prove highly motivated, largely self-sufficient, self-starter qualities Demonstrate problem solving skills in a complex environment Think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth Display effective and professional customer service skills Commit to self-development and handle increasing responsibilities over time Work effectively both independently and in a team atmosphere Rely on superiors, peers, and subordinates with prudence Exhibit exceptional time management and organizational skills Thrive in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment Prove intermediate competencies in key Microsoft Office applications including
