Physical Therapy Aide

The specific duties of P.T. aides includes the following setting up machines and equipment required for patient care and maintaining a clean and functional area for treatments and exercises. Taking care of the clerical duties such as patient intake, collaborating with physical therapist and nurse practitioner regarding patient's treatment protocol and carry out documentation of patient's response and progress during the treatment session.

Physical Therapy Aide Skill:

Good listener: An ability to hear and carry out precise instructions from a physical therapist or nurse practitioner. Also should be able to listen and understand the needs of patients.

Interpersonal skills:

Should be able to be team player and be able to read other people's cues and react accordingly.

Stamina:

Moving and preparing equipment and helping patients can be physically demanding.

Compassion:

A genuine concern ad compassion for patients recovery and well-being.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
