Physical Therapy Aide - Sports Center Physical Therapy About the
Role:
We are looking for a reliable Physical Therapy Aide to support our clinic and office operations. This role includes front desk duties, clinic maintenance, and assisting with patient care under the direction of our therapists. Key Responsibilities Clinic Clean tables, pillows, and equipment after patient use Keep treatment rooms and lobby clean and organized Restock supplies (ultrasound gel, cleaning spray, e-stim bottles) Handle laundry and put machines away after use Office Answer phones Schedule patients and evaluations Pull and file charts Collect copayments Make confirmation calls Prepare charge slips and evaluation charts Patient Care Maintain patient confidentiality Set up patients on modalities (e-stim, heat, ice) Guide patients through exercise programs in the clinic and gym Print home exercise programs Assist with patient flow and acknowledge patients in the lobby Scheduling Notes Appointments are generally scheduled on the half-hour Cluster patients when possible and leave room for evaluations Evaluations are one hour and can only be performed by therapists Collect patient name, diagnosis, physician, phone, and insurance information Direct patients to arrive early, bring their referral and insurance cards, and dress appropriately Ideal Candidate Organized, friendly, and able to multitask between office and clinical tasks. Prior healthcare or front desk experience is a plus but not required.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
