  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct and non-direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare field.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing treatment areas for therapy sessions
  • Aid patients in exercises and activities as directed by the physical therapist
  • Support patients with ambulation and transfers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and supplies
  • Document patient progress accurately
  • Experience:
  • Experience or exposure to orthopedics, hospital medicine, outpatient settings, or acute care is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Strong patient service skills
  • Familiarity with geriatric patient care is a plus This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting and the opportunity to work closely with experienced physical therapists.
