- We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing direct and non-direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Aid patients in exercises and activities as directed by the physical therapist
- Support patients with ambulation and transfers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and supplies
- Document patient progress accurately
Experience:
- Experience or exposure to orthopedics, hospital medicine, outpatient settings, or acute care is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong patient service skills
- Familiarity with geriatric patient care is a plus This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a healthcare setting and the opportunity to work closely with experienced physical therapists.
