Job Description
Physical Therapy Aide/Technician position(s) available in an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Downtown Brighton. Excellent opportunity to gain patient care experience. Looking for a friendly, compassionate individual with the ability to multitask. Ideal candidate is a college graduate who is taking a gap year before applying to graduate or Physical Therapy School. High school diploma or equivalent required. Will train the right candidate.
Position Summary:
Support physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, equipment and materials; perform procedures under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and/or Physical Therapist Assistant.Position Duties:
- Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Help treat patients by applying modalities, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion and performing prescribed exercises.
- Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Clerical work such as answering phones, making appointments, completing patient intakes
- Housekeeping including laundry and cleaning equipment/treatment rooms
Job Types:
