Job Description

Abundant Life Chiropractic Health Center is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Patient Therapy Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on, patient-facing position for someone who enjoys working with people and has a strong interest in anatomy, rehabilitation, chiropractic, physical therapy, exercise science, kinesiology, or healthcare. Our Therapy Manager works directly with patients throughout their care and is responsible for operating and managing the various therapeutic services offered in our office. What You'll Do As our Therapy Manager, you will: Work directly with patients during their therapy appointments Perform and manage the majority of in-office therapies Operate SoftWave therapy Operate spinal decompression therapy Operate knee decompression therapy Operate red light therapy Explain therapies to patients and help them feel comfortable throughout treatment Work closely with our chiropractors and other team members to provide an excellent patient experience Learn the proper application and operation of each therapy Help educate and train other staff members on therapy procedures Monitor therapy equipment and help ensure it is clean, properly maintained, and functioning correctly Maintain a clean, organized, professional therapy area Assist with occasional office marketing and other team responsibilities Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is: Great with people and genuinely enjoys helping patients Friendly, outgoing, compassionate, and professional Comfortable working one-on-one with patients throughout the day Interested in and knowledgeable about human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system Able to learn why different therapies are used and confidently explain them to patients Organized and able to manage multiple patients and therapies efficiently Dependable and comfortable taking ownership of an important area of the practice Able to follow treatment protocols and physician instructions carefully Comfortable learning and operating healthcare therapy equipment A strong communicator and team player Preferred Background Experience or education in one or more of the following is a plus: Kinesiology Exercise science Anatomy and physiology Chiropractic Physical therapy or physical therapy assisting Athletic training Massage therapy Personal training Rehabilitation Healthcare or patient care Previous experience with our specific therapy equipment is not required. We are willing to train the right person. More important to us is finding someone who understands the body, learns quickly, enjoys interacting with patients, and can confidently take ownership of our therapy department.
