Job Description
Physical Therapy Aide Mobility Bone & Joint Institute Physical Therapy , a division of Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance, is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at our outpatient physical therapy clinic in Salem, NH . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy, athletic training, sports medicine, or a related healthcare field . The position provides valuable hands-on experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting while working alongside experienced physical therapists and healthcare professionals. Position Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment activities Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient therapy sessions Clean, organize, and maintain therapy equipment and supplies Escort patients to and from treatment areas as needed Monitor patients during therapy sessions and promptly communicate any changes or concerns to the physical therapist Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients Perform administrative and front-desk duties, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records Provide friendly, professional, and compassionate service to patients Follow established protocols and instructions while working collaboratively with the physical therapy team Qualifications & Skills Strong interest in physical therapy, athletic training, sports medicine, or healthcare Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred Familiarity with anatomy and physiology is a plus Strong interpersonal and patient service skills Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Previous healthcare or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
