Job Description

Physical Therapy Aide Adult Outpatient Therapy The Physical Therapy Aide will: Greet patients upon arrival and directing them to the treating therapist Register and schedule patients Clean/organize work area and disinfecting equipment after treatment Maintain equipment and furniture to keep in good working condition, including performing the assembly and disassembly of equipment and accessories Anticipate needs of patients and therapist to ensure efficiency of clinic Effectively communicating with patients and therapy staff Perform other clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering the telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms
Requirements:
Work requires level of knowledge of basic patient care, procedures for caring for equipment and assisting Therapist with treatment programs. Generally acquired through on-the-job training requiring six (6)weeks orientation. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients, visitors, families, Physicians, peers and other healthcare professionals.
Salary Range:
17.00 - 22.95 USD We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
