Job Description
Physical Therapy Aide - Part-Time / Per Diem Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic Start building valuable hands-on experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation while making a difference in patients' recovery. Our outpatient physical therapy clinic is seeking an energetic, dependable, and personable Physical Therapy Aide to support our therapists and patients. This is a Part-Time / Per Diem position and is a great opportunity for individuals interested in physical therapy, exercise science, rehabilitation, sports medicine, fitness, or other healthcare careers. If you are a PT student, Exercise Science or Kinesiology student/graduate, future PT school applicant, athlete, personal trainer, or someone interested in gaining clinical experience , we encourage you to apply. Schedule Part-Time / Per Diem with morning and evening shifts available. What You'll Gain Direct exposure to an outpatient physical therapy setting Hands-on experience interacting with patients throughout their rehabilitation Opportunity to learn from licensed and experienced Physical Therapists Experience with therapeutic exercise and clinic operations Valuable clinical exposure for individuals considering or preparing for PT school Supportive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Flexible Part-Time / Per Diem scheduling What You'll Do Greet patients and help create a welcoming clinic experience Assist Physical Therapists with patient care and treatment-area preparation Guide patients through therapist-directed exercises under appropriate supervision Prepare exercise equipment and treatment areas for patient sessions Observe patient performance and communicate relevant information to the treating therapist Help patients transition between exercises and treatment areas Keep equipment and treatment spaces clean, organized, and ready for use Support the clinic team with general operational and administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and comfortable working directly with patients Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a busy, team-based clinical environment Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, fitness, exercise science, or healthcare Previous Physical Therapy Aide experience is helpful, but not required Coursework or education in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, or a related field is a plus Experience in athletics, fitness, personal training, coaching, or sports performance is also a plus Great Opportunity for Future Physical Therapists This position offers meaningful exposure to the day-to-day environment of an outpatient physical therapy clinic.
