Responsibilities Safeguard and assist patients performing exercises and functional activities under the direction of Physical / Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistants. Transport patients to and from treatment areas.

Prepare hot packs, cold packs and ice packs for use by the Physical/ Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant. Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment. Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment. Maintain equipment and furniture to keep it in good working condition, including performing the assembly and disassembly of equipment and accessories. Change linens after each patient. Arrange treatment supplies to keep them in order. Perform clerical duties such as taking inventory, ordering supplies and filling out forms. Support front desk staff and cover for receptionist as needed. Perform other duties as requested/directed.
