Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Aide, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing mobility. This energetic position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical environment, working alongside a licensed physical therapist and rehabilitation specialist. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive, motivating atmosphere for patients on their journey to improved health. Duties Greeting patients and escorting them to designated therapy area Preparing and setting up all equipment in the treatment area Ensuring that patients are properly placed and supervised while receiving treatment Receiving therapist confirmation that all treatment is completed Communicating and participating with all coworkers in the physical therapy treatment area Preparing hot packs, ice packs and e-stimulation machines Washing, drying and folding laundry throughout the day Maintaining a safe and clean working and treatment environment Preparing and setting up the equipment for the patients' individual treatment plans prior to their arrival Requirements Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly preferred but not necessary Strong knowledge and/or openness to learn physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices Experience operating medical equipment used in therapeutic settings such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation devices Background in orthopedics, geriatrics, hospital medicine, or sub-acute care enhances your suitability for this role Inpatient or outpatient clinic experience demonstrating adaptability across diverse healthcare environments We are seeking motivated individuals eager to contribute positively to patient outcomes while developing their skills in a supportive setting.
