RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide to join our Bridgewater, NJ team at RWJUH Somerset Sports Physical Therapy! Qualifications:

Required:

HS diploma or GED (or equivalent required within one year of hire) Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and muscle movement terminology Physical Therapy experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

BLS Certification / CPR Card from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Scheduling Requirements:

Day Shift Per Diem Schedule (Expected hours range weekly based on schedule needs) Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations (Flemington, Bridgewater, Princeton, Hillsborough)

Essential Functions:

General housekeeping and infection prevention Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment
