Duties Assist physical therapists with patient setup, positioning, and movement during therapy sessions Prepare treatment rooms by organizing equipment and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met Support patients with exercises under supervision, focusing on biomechanics, body mechanics, and strength training techniques Maintain accurate documentation of patient activities and progress in compliance with clinic protocols Monitor patient safety by applying first aid and CPR procedures when necessary, including AED operation Help manage clinic schedules and communicate effectively with clients to enhance their experience Support program development by assisting in the design of personalized physiotherapy and fitness programs tailored to individual needs Requirements Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and body mechanics essential for supporting therapeutic activities Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation certification preferred but not mandatory Experience working with athletes or in the fitness industry is highly desirable Strong client communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service in a healthcare or fitness setting Ability to handle weight safely in the workplace and assist with manual handling tasks Background in coaching, personal training, or group fitness instruction is advantageous Demonstrated teamwork leadership skills within a fitness center or health club environment This role offers an exciting pathway into the health and wellness industry.
