•Please note: This position is Monday-Thursday 8AM-12PM and Friday 7AM-5:30PM.•Overview Join our team as a Medical Assistant/Clinic Aide and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in our physical therapy clinic! In this role, you will support healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth clinic operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting dedicated to improving health outcomes. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient visits, ensuring all clinical tasks are performed efficiently and accurately. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs, updating daily notes, and explaining exercises to patients. You must provide excellent customer service by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing check-in/check-out processes with professionalism. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with privacy regulations. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and other healthcare staff to facilitate seamless care delivery. This position involves providing routine administrative support to ensure office efficiency, with a consistent workload of approximately 10 hours per week, which may increase to provide coverage during staff absences. Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Certification in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) is preferred but not mandatory.
