Responsibilities Assist the head Dr during neurological examination and chiropractic adjustments Support patient transfer methods safely using proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer equipment Prepare treatment rooms, ensure cleanliness, and organize therapy tools for daily procedures Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout treatments Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while strictly adhering to confidentiality protocols Help with intake procedures including collecting patient histories and updating medical records with relevant physiological and anatomical information Support rehabilitation care efforts by assisting with exercises, mobility training, and post-acute care activities Qualifications Proven experience in patient service within a healthcare setting, ideally involving physical therapy or chiropractic support Familiarity with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to neurological and orthopedic conditions Hands-on experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and patient transfer methods in hospital or outpatient environments Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Prior experience working in with disabled patients, children, hospital medicine or rehabilitation facilities is a plus Embark on a rewarding career that makes a real difference!
