At Ridgeview Physical Therapy, we are committed to providing a caring and personalized experience to our patients and are looking for an individual who can share in this vision. Basic Duties of the position include the following: Greeting patients and visitors with genuine courtesy and professionalism, in person and on the telephone. Scheduling patient appointments by optimizing patients' availability in conjunction with therapists' time and treatment room availability Entering patient information into medical and financial software accurately and completely. Calling/researching and verifying patients' insurance benefits Explaining patient benefits to patient Reviewing payments in front-end software Collecting patient co-pays and account payments on daily/weekly basis Posting payments to patient accounts Making regular social media posts to assist in marketing of the clinic Maintaining clean work environment and assisting with patient care as needed. Escorting patients and assisting therapists as needed, assisting in cleaning treatment rooms to improve clinic flow. Applying Candidates should be proficient in the following areas: Multi-tasking, high quality customer service, time management, organization, detail oriented thinking, professionalism Possessing the skill sets below are required for consideration for this position: Professional speaking voice, computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, understanding of the internet and social media Experience in rehabilitation/exercise science, medical office management, and/or billing is preferred
