We are looking for a Physical Therapy Aide who could start in the month of August. If you're interested in applying for physical therapy school that requires clinical experience in order to apply this would be a great opportunity for you This person should be available for 4 to 6 hour shifts, 2 to 3 days a week. At our office, the PT Aide is a healthcare support professional who assists licensed physical therapists in providing patient care. The primary duties and responsibilities are: Assist physical therapists Prepare treatment areas: Set up equipment and treatment areas for patient therapy sessions. Clean and maintain equipment and treatment areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients.

Assist with patient transfers:

Help patients move from one location to another, such as from a wheelchair to a therapy table. Assist with exercises and activities as directed by the therapist.

Educate patients:

Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the therapist. Provide education on proper techniques and safety precautions.

Maintenance of the clinic:

Take out the trash, vacuum the floors, refill paper towel holders, and restock towels.

Laundry:

Wash, dry, and fold the towels for the clinic.
