This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in physical therapy, sports medicine, exercise science, kinesiology, or healthcare who enjoys working directly with patients in an active and positive environment. This energetic position involves assisting licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment. Duties Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions. Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises using proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session details while upholding strict confidentiality protocols. Help with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and explaining therapy routines clearly. Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and sterilization of therapy equipment in compliance with health standards. Communicate effectively with patients to provide encouragement, answer questions, and promote a positive therapy experience. Keeping workplace tidy and clean , laundry etc. Qualifications Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care principles. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required or obtainable upon hire. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service.
