Front Desk Staff / Rehab Tech ARK Physical Therapy Plano, TX Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Qualifications Direct patient care Assisting medical staff Rehabilitation care assistance Handling patient inquiries Full Job Description Front Desk / Rehab tech - Part-Time We are a growing physical therapy practice focused on providing high-quality, one-on-one patient care in a friendly, supportive, and professional environment. We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and personable Front Desk / Physical Therapy Aide to join our team and grow with the practice. Position Overview This is a part-time position, approximately 18-24 hours per week , with the potential for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
The position will be approximately:
80% Front Desk / Administrative 20% Physical Therapy Aide / Tech Front Desk & Administrative Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and insurance companies Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and other insurance-related tasks Collect copays and assist with basic front-office responsibilities Training will be provided for insurance and authorization responsibilities Physical Therapy Aide Responsibilities Assist the physical therapist with patient care and treatment setup Help patients with exercises and equipment as directed by the therapist Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment Assist with therapeutic activities and maintaining an organized treatment area Provide friendly and professional support to patients throughout their visit Schedule 18-24 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday are required , with these being the primary full-day shifts:
Tuesday:
approximately 8/9 AM - 5/6
PM Thursday:
approximately 8/9 AM - 5/6
PM Monday:
additional hours may be available depending on availability and practice needs There is potential for the position to increase in hours as the practice continues to grow . What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual Comfortable answering phones and interacting with patients Organized and able to multitask Willingness to learn insurance and administrative processes Comfortable working in a patient-care environment Previous front desk, medical office, physical therapy aide, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required We are willing to train the right person Why Join Us?
