Come join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide and earn experience hours in the field while being paid! Located on beautiful Bainbridge Island, our longstanding PT owned and operated clinic emphasizes exceptional patient care via advanced orthopedic evaluation, functionally-based exercise, manual therapy, and thorough patient education. Ideal applicant should be considering a career in a clinical Healthcare profession, personable with great people skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and detailed oriented. The PT Aide job entails a mix of reception work and assisting with patients with exercises in the gym. PT Aides are given additional training sessions run by our experienced PT's and PTA to further their education and training in the field. The main educational sessions are run by a DPT who is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Certified Manual Therapist, and Certified Hand Therapist. Our staff also includes a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT) , additional Certified Manual Therapists, Certified Hand Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. Employment hours can be used towards completing graduate school applications in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and athletic trainer advanced degrees. We have provided letters of recommendations for our PT Aides that have assisted them into getting accepted into physical therapy graduate school programs and physical therapist assistant programs. Pay:
- $18-21 per hour
Shifts:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday-Friday
- 32-38 hours per week
- Weekends off
