Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing care to patients in our outpatient facilities. Responsibilities
- Support physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure their comfort and safety
- Maintain cleanliness of the office Qualifications On the job training is provided. All that is required is a willingness to learn.
- Experience or interest in working in a hospital, clinic, or outpatient setting
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, and hospital medicine is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
