POSITION SUMMARY
An integral member of a rehab team who all believe in our mission and strive for our patients to reach their best possible clinical and functional outcomes. Provides high quality, compassionate Physical Therapy Services while using the most up -to date evidence -based practices. This rehab team member assists directly and indirectly with the delivery of Physical Therapy exercises, manual therapy, modalities and functional activities as outlined by the Physical Therapist's treatment plan and in accordance with State Practice Act guidelines. This team player implements treatment goals, plans and programs established by the Physical Therapist while maintaining a "patient first" attitude. The ideal team player in this position exhibits a positive attitude, strength in teamwork, idea sharing and exceptional customer service skills when interacting with patients and co-workers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Associate degree Physical Therapist's Assistant from APTA accredited curriculum Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Current Alabama State Board of Physical Therapy licensure BLS within 90 days of hire Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience 1 year of experience in actual patient treatment, any clinical setting. Bachelor's Degree and PTA licensure Preferred Registration/License/Certification APTA Clinical Instructor Credentialing Other Requirements N/A
