Join our Gilbert team as a Full-Time Physical Therapy Technician, supporting our mission to deliver top-notch patient care and rehabilitation services. Physical Therapy Technicians play a critical role in supporting the clinical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position involves providing direct assistance to physical therapists and assisting with various aspects of patient care and clinic operations.
The proposed schedule is:
Tuesday 8:00 am
  • 7:00 pm Wednesday 8:00 am
  • 12:00 pm Thursday 8:00 am
  • 7:00 pm Friday 8:00 am
  • 1:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Patient Assistance:
Assist patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist. Provide guidance and support to patients during their therapy sessions.
Equipment Setup and Maintenance:
Prepare and set up therapy equipment and modalities for patient use. Maintain and clean equipment to ensure proper functionality and hygiene.
Clinic Organization:
Ensure the clinic environment is clean, organized, and safe for patients and staff. Stock and communicate order supplies as needed, including exercise bands, balls, and other therapy tools.
Patient Record Management:
Assist with patient record-keeping, including filing, scanning, updating electronic health records (EHR), and collecting payments.
Appointment Scheduling:
Assist with scheduling patient appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of therapy sessions.
Patient Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients and relay messages to the clinical team. Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Infection Control:
Adhere to infection control protocols, including sanitization of equipment and maintaining a hygienic clinic environment.
Clinical Support:
Assist physical therapists with various clinical tasks as needed, including preparing patients for treatment and monitoring their progress.
