Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting near Tucson, AZ. This position involves supporting students across two campuses, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care to help children achieve their developmental and academic goals. As the onsite PTA, you'll collaborate with a remote PT supervisor, delivering hands-on, in-person services as an essential member of the student support team. This role is ideal for professionals who are motivated, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic school environments.
Key Requirements:
Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Arizona Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Strong communication and teamwork abilities Comfortable bridging in-person and remote supervision settings Organized and able to manage a caseload split between two campuses
Position Highlights:
Provide a total of 150 minutes of direct student services per month, divided between two school locations (Tucson and Oro Valley) Implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with supervising virtual PT Participate in IEP meetings and document progress toward physical therapy goals Support safe mobility, gross motor skills, and access to the school environment Communicate regularly with staff, families, and the supervising PT to ensure student needs are met This is an engaging contract role, offering the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the growth and independence of students in your community.
