Job Summary Hencetek is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Burbank, CA . In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services that help patients improve mobility, restore function, and regain independence. Key Responsibilities Administer physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and mobility programs. Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and treatment responses. Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs, mobility techniques, and injury prevention. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and regulations. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Active California PTA License (or eligible). Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred). Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
