We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence. Complete accurate and timely daily documentation, progress notes, and other required clinical records. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and discharge recommendations. Participate in care conferences and communicate resident progress with the healthcare team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment. Assist in training restorative nursing staff as appropriate to support resident outcomes. Qualifications Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Passion for providing high-quality rehabilitation services. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
