Job Description

WMS LLC is a licensed physical therapy practice providing school-based pediatric PT services across Solano County. I'm the owner and supervising Physical Therapist, and I'm looking for a friendly, reliable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help cover my Fairfield/Dixon caseload 1-2 days per week to start. This is a relaxed, straightforward role working directly under me — not through a staffing agency, and not through layers of management. You'd work one-on-one with me, and I keep things simple and supportive. I handle all the evaluations, reports, and IEP meetings myself, so you get to focus on the best part: working with the kids and carrying out the plans I've already set up. I'm always just a phone call or video away if you ever have a question. The schedule is flexible and predictable, built around the school calendar — no nights, weekends, or holidays. If you'd like more hours, I have caseload in surrounding districts and can offer additional days. And I'm happy to set you up as either W2 or 1099 — whatever works best for your situation. If you're a PTA looking for steady, low-stress, family-friendly school work with a supportive supervising PT and flexible hours, I'd love to hear from you. To apply, send your resume and California PTA license number, along with your preferred days and whether you'd like W2 or 1099. Responsibilities (paste into the responsibilities/bullets box): Provide physical therapy treatment to students based on the plans of care I've already created Conduct check-ins at school sites to confirm my PT programs and strategies are being carried out correctly, and report back to me Track and document progress toward each student's goals Communicate regularly with me (the supervising PT) about student status Maintain timely, accurate treatment notes Work under the general supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist who is available by phone or video at all times
