We help moms restore core strength, eliminate leakage and pressure, and navigate pregnancy and postpartum with confidence and ease. Our practice is founded on high-touch, personalized care. We operate a cash-based model featuring 1-on-1 sessions where patients are never rushed, brushed off, or double-booked. We cultivate a warm, supportive sanctuary where every patient feels understood and empowered. Position Overview We are seeking a warm, skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work side-by-side with our primary Physical Therapist, guiding patients through established plans of care with hands-on cues, movement progression, and high-empathy patient education.
What You'll Do Execute Care Plans:
Deliver 50-minute, 1-on-1 treatment sessions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist's established plan of care.
Guide & Motivate:
Instruct patients through therapeutic exercises, functional retraining, breathwork, and postural corrections tailored to pelvic health.
Track Progress & Communicate:
Closely track patient responses, document daily progress notes, and communicate regularly with the supervising PT regarding treatment modifications.
Support Patient Success:
Educate patients on home exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and self-care strategies that reinforce their clinical goals. Qualifications & Requirements Active, unencumbered California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Prior exposure to or strong interest in pelvic health, women's health, or maternal wellness. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to high-empathy, patient-centered care. Authorized to work in the US; ability to pass a standard background check. Floora Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Pay:
$45.00 - $49.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 36.0 per week
