Physical Therapy Assistant 45 - 55 Per Hour Full-Time Los Angeles, CA School-Based school year About the

Role:

Plan and deliver specialized therapy techniques through individual or group sessions to meet the goals outlined in the Individual Education Plans (IEP). Provide therapy to children aged 0 to 22 with various medical diagnoses, including orthopedic impairments and developmental disorders.

What You'll Do:

Consultation & Instruction:

Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom-based activities. Partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans, ensuring supervision and alignment with therapeutic goals. Engage with parents to incorporate their child's therapy program into daily routines.

Data Collection & Documentation:

Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all student therapy sessions and progress. Time Off Management for

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

Licensure:

Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where services are delivered. DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs Experience with school-based caseload management
