Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities tailored to their specific needs, ensuring proper technique and safety. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, maintaining equipment standards and cleanliness. Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning in accordance with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR) management protocols. Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain procedures, answer questions, and promote engagement in therapy programs. Maintain detailed medical documentation reflecting patient progress, treatment responses, and physical therapy interventions following medical terminology guidelines. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Prior experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, orthopedics, and geriatrics. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation standards. Skilled in manual therapy techniques Familiarity with medical terminology and operation of physical therapy equipment. Strong communication skills for effective caregiver and client interaction across diverse populations. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop effective care plans and ensure seamless discharge planning. $33.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
