Reward for timely submission of documentation Job Summary As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) , you will provide in-home physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care. Responsibilities Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and improve mobility. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training . Apply physical agents such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and massage. Educate patients on the use of assistive devices (wheelchairs, braces, crutches, etc.). Document clinical notes accurately and timely. Communicate patient progress and changes to the supervising PT.
