Job Summary:

Hencetek is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a well-established outpatient physical therapy clinic in Placentia, CA . The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services focused on helping patients improve strength, mobility, function, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, balance, gait training, and functional activities. Support patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients on prescribed exercises, home programs, and safe movement techniques. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment. Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care. Follow all applicable California regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Active California PTA License (or eligible). Current CPR/BLS certification preferred. Previous outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Why Join Hencetek?
