Job Description
Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a full-time or part-time/per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team, serving patients in Northern California's Bay Area. In this role, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will work closely with a supervising Physical Therapist and a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. •For a limited time, Apollo is offering a $1,500 hiring bonus for a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or a $500 hiring bonus for a part-time/per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).•Why Join Apollo? Priority scheduling to achieve a full patient caseload for full-time clinicians Local territory within your region of choice (within Alameda County, Contra Costa County, or Solano County) Support from a dedicated clinical team Comprehensive and competitive benefits package for full-time clinicians Opportunity for membership and profit-sharing through Obran Cooperative What You'll Do Provide in-home physical therapy visits under the supervision of a PT Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement Document visits in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team Requirements Graduate of an accredited PTA program Active California PTA license CPR/BLS certification Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes Home healthcare experience Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required) Benefits $30-85/hour, depending on type of work and experience level Mileage reimbursement Cellular device reimbursement Eligibility for Obran Cooperative membership and profit-sharing Full-time packages also include Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, with generous employer contributions HSA/FSA options to cover healthcare expenses and dependent care with pre-tax dollars 401(k) Paid time off, sick time, and paid holidays $1,500 hiring bonus for full-time PTA or $500 hiring bonus for part-time/per diem PTA, paid in part after completion of first independent patient visit, with the remainder following 90 days of active employment
