RIVERSIDE, FONTANA, MURIETA, PASADENA/ARCADIA We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team who understands the home health care field. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients enrolled in home health care agencies. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and effective rehabilitation process for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. This role allows you to make your own schedule directly with patients and choose your own work days and hour range. We use a software for you to log in and put in all your visit notes and upload your route sheets. This job is strictly for those who are responsible, who can inform our office on any updates that are patient related so we can fix any issues you may have. Duties Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions. Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physical therapist. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist. Provide excellent patient service by greeting patients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience during their therapy sessions. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records as needed. Skills Knowledge of basic physiology and anatomy to assist in patient care effectively. Experience or familiarity with acute care, orthopedics, geriatrics, and outpatient settings is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. Familiarity with rehabilitation techniques and equipment used in physical therapy settings. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
