Part-Time | Flexible Hours Del Rosa Villa is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. About Del Rosa Villa Del Rosa Villa is a 104-bed skilled nursing facility located in San Bernardino, California. We are committed to providing exceptional short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care and positive outcomes for every resident we serve. Position Summary Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with implementing physical therapy treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other prescribed interventions. Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatment sessions and resident responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes. Educate residents and family members on exercises and mobility techniques as appropriate. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional treatment environment. Qualifications Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of California. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Passion for resident-centered care and rehabilitation.
