What You'll Do As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents restore function, improve mobility, and maximize independence.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on individualized care plans
  • Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy team
  • Document treatments and resident outcomes accurately and timely
  • Educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional patient-centered care Qualifications
  • Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset
