Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Redwood Grove Post Acute in Santa Cruz, CA. Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse physical therapy needs Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify goals, limitations, and potential barriers to successful treatment Implement and modify physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and education, to promote patient recovery and independence Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans About the

Requirements:
Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of California High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a related field preferred Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and obtain any necessary vaccinations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients, as well as push and pull equipment, up to 50 pounds
