Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient setting. Your major end result will be to help patients regain their physical strength and mobility, and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license Knowledge of Universal Precautions Ability to lift and carry heavy weights Excellent eye-hand coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an outpatient setting Knowledge of voluntary insurance programs
Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients in an outpatient setting Help patients regain their physical strength and mobility Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Skills:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will use your skills in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Compassion to help patients regain their physical strength and mobility. You will also need to have excellent eye-hand coordination and the ability to lift and carry heavy weights. Knowledge of Universal Precautions and voluntary insurance programs is preferred. You will work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment as needed. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members is essential to success in this role.
