Job Description

AvaMed Workforce is a healthcare staffing agency that supports a variety of healthcare settings across California, including correctional facilities, hospitals, clinics, and skilled nursing facilities. We currently have an urgent need for a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA.
Position Details:
40 Hours per week
Location:
Stockton ,
CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (30 minute meal break)
Rate:
$50/hr ($2,000/weekly) W-2 Traveler or $44/hr ($1,760/weekly) as a W-2 Local Weekly Pay via
Direct Deposit Job Description:
Patient Care:
Implement treatment plans designed by PTs, including exercises, stretching, and gait/balance training.
Monitoring & Assessment:
Observe, record, and report a patient's progress and response to treatment before, during, and after therapy.
Equipment Application:
Use devices such as walkers, canes, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to aid treatment.
Education:
Instruct patients and family members on in-home exercises and wellness strategies.
Documentation:
