Physical Therapist Assistant:

Develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Qualifications Physical Therapist Required Active California Physical Therapist (PT) License Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current BLS Certification Physical Therapist Assistant Required Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Graduate of an accredited PTA program Current BLS Certification Preferred for Both Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or Geriatric experience Strong communication and teamwork skills
