We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Physical Therapist Assistant who is interested in working with a geriatric population at a beautiful senior living facility. You will help patients restore motion, maintain safety and ultimately maximize their quality of life. We expect our therapists to fully immerse themselves in the community to elevate the resident's overall experience, through providing additional activities and educational seminars. Sounds fun, right? It is. Responsibilities Identify and address patients' goals and needs through personalized care Provide evidence-based treatments that help improve patients' motion, mobility and overall wellness Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery Develop and implement fitness programs tailored to community needs Motivate patients to optimize outcomes Promote healthy lifestyles through educational seminars Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive care Monitor and document progress, while effectively communicating outcomes with patients, families and other healthcare professionals Skills Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Ability to manage patients with different temperaments Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy
Pay:
