The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to improve patient well-being following a plan of care under supervision.
Responsibilities include:
Following state laws and treatment plans set by the supervising PT Instructing patients in exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training Monitoring, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes Collaborating with healthcare team members and educating patients, families, and caregivers Adapting to various home environments, regardless of client background
Qualifications:
Licensed or certified to practice physical therapy in the state Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation Availability for weekend rotations
Preferred Skills:
