We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine-focused practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and active adult populations. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists in delivering personalized, one-on-one care in a concierge-style setting that emphasizes longer sessions and individualized treatment plans. Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience is preferred and highly valued. Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans for active adults Deliver hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy treatments focused on improving mobility, strength, and function Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury-prevention strategies Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with standards and regulations Support clinic operations during non-treatment hours, including administrative tasks and community outreach Prepare treatment areas and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for clients
Qualifications:
Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Demonstrated skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience is highly preferred and stands out strongly among candidates Extensive coursework or hands-on experience in orthopedics, musculoskeletal conditions, or sports medicine is highly valued Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients Ability to follow clinical instructions accurately and document care thoroughly Comfortable working in a cash-based, out-of-network practice model CPR certification and familiarity with safety protocols in a clinical setting Reliable team player committed to providing exceptional patient care in a small, personalized environment
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Application Question(s): This is a cash-based, out-of-network clinic rather than an in-network insurance model.
