This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in anatomy and the human body, and would like a hands-on role helping patients feel and function better. You do NOT need previous SoftWave experience — we will train the right person! Our ideal candidate may have experience or education in chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, exercise science, kinesiology, personal training, medical assisting, athletic training, or another health/fitness-related field. Knowledge of basic anatomy is a big plus. What you'll be doing: Learning to perform SoftWave therapy treatments under the doctor's direction Working one-on-one with patients during their SoftWave visits Following established treatment protocols and documenting treatments Helping keep treatment rooms and equipment clean, organized, and ready for patients Greeting and checking patients in and out Answering phones and scheduling/rescheduling appointments Collecting patient payments Helping with basic front-desk and office responsibilities when not treating patients Helping us keep the office running smoothly and, most importantly, making patients feel welcome and cared for We're looking for someone who is: Warm, friendly and comfortable talking with all kinds of people Dependable and punctual — this is very important in our small office Comfortable working directly with patients Interested in anatomy, health and how the body works Able to learn new technology and follow treatment protocols Organized and able to switch between patient care and front-desk responsibilities Comfortable using computers and learning our scheduling/EHR system A team player who isn't afraid to jump in and help where needed Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but the right personality, work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important to us. This is a permanent part-time position with consistent morning hours and no evenings or weekends .
