JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Sr. Physical Therapists or Physical Therapist, performs selected physical therapy treatments to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education (or equivalent years of experience): Required for consideration: Associate degree of science from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. B. Experience (or equivalent education): No Experience Required (One year experience for Home Health) C.
Licensure Required for consideration:
Physical Therapy Assistant for the state of Florida. D.
Certifications Required for consideration:
BLS through American Heart Association or American RedCross (these are the only two providers that are accepted.) Comprehensive Benefits Enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision and other voluntary plans within 30 days of hire. Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following your start date.

  • Contribute 5% and receive up to 2.4% from Broward Health Pension Plan
  • Eligible after one year of service.
Receive 5% of your salary contributed from Broward Health with NO required contribution on your part to receive the 5% contribution. Fully vested after 5 years of service.
Paid Time Off:
23 days per year to start Accrues biweekly Increases after five years of service Available after a 90-day introductory period
Paid Sick Leave:
