YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE LICENSE.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring out the Physical Therapist plan of care and implementing treatment for patients with various physical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology, as well as the ability to work effectively with outpatient settings. Therapy‑first, patient‑centered care. No surgery‑first pressure. We're a
DOL/OWCP
‑approved rehab clinic focused on restoring function through skilled therapy and continuity of care — not rushing to the OR.
What You'll Love:
Steady, pre‑qualified patient flow — no hunting for cases 1‑on‑1 patient focus, not high‑volume churn (part time only) Therapy‑driven model with strong compliance support (soap note taking)
Requirements:
Active Florida PTA license OWCP experience a plus (training available) Positive, team‑oriented approach Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home care strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Excellent communication skills for educating patients and their families about treatment options. Familiarity with various therapeutic systems and techniques used in physical therapy.
