Set Your Own Schedule — Home Health
PT / PTA
Looking for extra income without committing to another fixed schedule? Strong Step Forward is growing our home health therapy network throughout Southwest Florida and is looking for Florida-licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) who want the flexibility to choose when, where, and how much they work. This is aPRN, 1099
independent contractor opportunity designed to work around your existing job, family, or other commitments. The Flexibility- Set your own schedule
- Accept or decline patients based on your availability
- Choose the geographic areas you are willing to cover
- Take a few visits per week or build a larger caseload as available
- No minimum weekly caseload
- Ideal for clinicians looking to supplement an existing full-time, part-time, or PRN position Compensation Paid per completed visit:
- PTA follow-up treatments: $55-60 per visit based on experience
- PT evaluations/re-evaluations, discharges: $90 per visit
- PT follow-up treatments $75 per visit
PT OASIS
evaluations: $115 per visit This is a per-visit 1099 contractor position. Compensation is not hourly. Service Area Home health patients are located throughout Southwest Florida, including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Estero, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Naples, and surrounding communities. You choose the areas you are willing to cover.What You'll Do:
Physical Therapists- Perform home health evaluations and reassessments
- Establish and update individualized plans of care
- Complete OASIS assessments when applicable
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment
- Coordinate care with PTAs, physicians, nursing, and other members of the home health team
- Complete required documentation accurately and within agency guidelines Physical Therapist Assistants
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment according to the established plan of care
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, mobility, and home programs
- Complete required visit documentation accurately and within agency guidelines Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Florida PT or PTA license
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
- Current professional liability insurance
- Ability to complete required home health documentation in a timely fashion
- Strong communication and independent time-management skills
- Home health experience is preferred, but qualified clinicians with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply About Strong Step Forward Strong Step Forward is a growing Southwest Florida therapy provider focused on connecting qualified clinicians with home health patients while giving therapists greater control over their schedules and service areas.
