•We are a dynamic, privately owned physical therapy practice with 3 locations to serve our community: Niceville, Fort Walton Beach & Destin, FL. Our specialties include Pelvic Health, Vertigo/Vestibular, Sports Rehabilitation, Dry Needling, Manual therapy and Orthopedics. We are looking for an exceptional Physical Therapist Assistant looking to enhance his/her professional growth as well as to continue to build our reputation for compassionate, hands-on, evidenced-based care. Job Responsibilities:
Assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans. Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities. Utilizing modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed. Accurately documenting patient progress and communicating this to the supervising Physical Therapist. Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
Skills and Requirements:
State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. A fundamental understanding of physical therapy principles and treatment methodologies. Ability to take direction and work collaboratively within a team. Your contributions as a Physical Therapy Assistant are invaluable to our clinic's operation and our patients' experiences.
